Every medication dispensed through GloWellness is compounded at US-based, state-licensed pharmacies within our partner network. Our partner pharmacies conduct third-party testing through FDA and DEA-registered laboratories on every compounded lot prescribed through our platform.
Four-test quality standard
- Potency TestingTested regularly per pharmacy standards
- Confirms the medication contains the correct concentration of active ingredient, within a plus or minus 10% margin of the prescribed dose.
- Sterility & Microbial TestingEvery batch
- Ensures every batch is completely free from bacteria, fungi, and other pathogens. Partner pharmacies must meet the requirements of USP 797 for sterile compounding.
- pH TestingEvery batch
- Measures the acid-base balance of the medication to ensure it is appropriate for injection and minimizes the risk of irritation at the administration site.
- Endotoxin TestingEvery batch
- Tests for the presence of harmful bacterial endotoxins that may cause inflammation or adverse reactions. Endotoxin levels must not exceed the threshold limits defined in USP 85.
Quality commitments
- Partner pharmacies operate under 503A and 503B standards in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations.
- Pharmacies are licensed by their state board of pharmacy and subject to federal oversight under Section 503A and 503B of the Federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act.
- All medications are dispensed only pursuant to a valid, patient-specific prescription issued by a licensed practitioner following a medical evaluation.
- Compounded medications are not reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Third-party testing through our partner pharmacies is the standard applied to every compounded lot.
